Baby Coach Update

Having Coach is one of the best things that has ever happened to us, and I might be biased but he is the best baby. He is always smiling, giggling, and is ALWAYS wanting to cuddle...which is good for mama when Chaytin is over it haha.

This kid has slept through the night since he was two months old and Chaytin and I PRAY it stays that way because we love our sleep! We do co-sleep and have done so since the first night we brought him home. It makes things easier throughout the night and I get all the extra baby cuddles...the only thing I would change is getting a bigger bed. So, C if you are reading this..my birthday is coming up:)

Coach is almost five months old, it feels like just yesterday we were packing our hospital bags and getting the car seat put together. I love watching him grow, learn, and discover new things but I already miss the newborn stage..but then again I can not wait until he can crawl around! Baby boy loves tummy time and can scoot a few inches if he is not being too lazy that day haha. When we lay him on his tummy and back, he is able to turn himself (like do a complete 360 and let me tell you when he did it for the first time and I did not see it happen with my own eyes I was FREAKED out lol) He loves when we read to him and his favorite thing are kisses.

We have started him on solids and are trying baby led weaning, so we try to let him do everything on his own! Whenever we are eating something, Coach's eyes follow it like a dog and he always wants what we have! I gave him a sliced avocado with skin on half of it so it would not slip through his hands and so it would be easy to hold but he did not show much interest but when I ate my avocado toast five minutes later, he was all about it. He even ate the avocado with black pepper and salt on it!

He is very attentive and wants to be involved in everything mom and dad do. He loves biting on anything he can find and loves loves loves his toy fox. He discovered his voice so he loves to talk and even yells when frustrated lol.

Overall, he is doing great and I am OBSESSED with him. It is the best thing in the world to be able to love on your baby and to be loved by them. The best feeling in the world is when he looks up and smiles at you or giggles when you try so hard to make him laugh. I am so blessed to be his mom.
